Untitiled (Face)

$0.00

This was very well an unintentional, capture but the end result delivers a bold, dramatic statement at the level of contemporary painting. While Bruce Gilden’s iconic series “Face,” represents the graphic portrait, the incomplete face of this young child, up close, is brilliant in both ambiguity and definition. And a stretch to be sure, of the photorealism of Chuck Close, but arguably, neither Gilden or Close could deny the impact of powerful impact from this unknown photographer.
